PARTICIPANTS AND TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

1. Basic Level Certificate Program Quota: 70 + 5 participants
“This level covers basic level trauma training. It is designed to be carried out for 11 weeks with 3 hours per week. It is a 33-hour training program with 10 Basic Level Workshops and 1 Clinical Level Workshop. Anyone who is curious about the work in the field of trauma can participate in the Basic Level program.”

2. Clinical Level Certificate Program Quota:  35 + 10 participants
“This level includes skill-building trainings for specialists who want to work with trauma. The intensive program consists of 13 Clinical Level Workshops, 3 Basic Level workshops and 6 sessions of 3-hour free Case Discussion/Supervision Workshops for a total of 16 weeks and 66 hours. Graduate students, clinical psychologists, expert psychological counselors, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses and psychotherapists can participate in the Clinical Level program.”

3. International Level Moduler: No quota has been determined.

“The language of instruction is English. Simultaneous English-Turkish translation will be available for non-English speaking participants who wish to participate. This level is a 5-week 15-hour program consisting of 1 Basic Level Workshop and 4 Clinical Level Workshops.”

Open to anyone, including English-speaking international employees who work and want to work in the field of trauma.

4. Scholarship Participants: Scholarship applications will be accepted for the basic level and the clinical level. While determining the participants who will be provided with scholarship opportunities; Priority will be given to applications that work actively in rural areas and within the NGOs. Scholarship participants in the basic level will be awarded 50% scholarship and  scholarship participants in the clinical level will be awarded 100% scholarship.

 In order for our students, who are accepted to the clinical level with 100% scholarship, to receive their certificates, they are expected to provide professional therapy services for 12 hours (8×12, 96 hours in total) to 8 clients exposed to trauma at our International Trauma Prevention and Rehabilitation Center within one year at the latest after completing the program. In order for the students accepted at the basic level with a 50% scholarship to receive their certificates, they are expected to provide 48 hours of assistantship support in the working areas within the World Human Relief organization within a year after completing the program.

5. Certificate: Participants must fully attend the sessions in order to receive a certificate. International module participants will receive a certificate of participation stating the workshop hours they attended.
