Program Purpose
- It is a training course equipped with the latest information in the field of psychotraumatology in three intertwined modules for clinicians and non-clinicians who work or want to work in the field of trauma. Hereby, one of the main objectives is to develop a more trauma-sensitive society approach to traumas and people who have been exposed to trauma.
- To train specialists educated in international standards and create teams that can respond effectively to the disasters experienced by humanity in Turkey and in the World.
- To establish International Trauma Prevention and Rehabilitation Centers where it is necessary that offers training, treatment, and rehabilitation services of trauma specialists to people. In this center, we aim to:

BASIC LEVEL |
It covers basic trauma education. The Basic level trauma program consists of 10 Basic level and 1 Clinical level workshops. It will be held for 11 weeks, 3 hours a week. It is a 33-hour training program in total. |
70 participants Psychologists and graduate education, psychological counselors and graduate education, social workers, NGO workers who encounter trauma, work, live or want to learn about trauma can participate in the basic level program. Certificate: Attendance at all workshops is required. |
Scholarship opportunities will not be offered for the basic level. |
CLINICAL LEVEL |
It includes skill training for clinicians working with traumatized individuals. Intensified trauma program; It consists of 2 Basic level workshop and 12 Clinical level workshops. It is a 42-hour program in total, consisting of 3-hour 14 workshopsfor 12 weeks. In addition to this, supervision/case presentation sessions consisting of 4 sessions will be held. |
45 Participants (10 Scholarship participation) Specialist clinical psychologists, specialist psychological counselors, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, psychiatry assistants (at least 2 years), psychiatry nursing graduate graduates can participate in the Advanced Level program. Certificate: Attendance at all workshops is required. |
Scholarship participants will be given 50% scholarship. Priority will be given to applications that are active in the rural area and within the NGO. In order for our students, who are accepted to the clinical level with 50% scholarship, to receive their certificates, they are expected to provide professional therapy services for 12 hours (4×12, 48 hours in total) to 4 clients exposed to trauma at our International Trauma Rehabilitation Center within one year at the latest after completing the program. |
INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOPS |
It consists of a total of 4 workshops, 1 basic module and 3 clinical module workshops. Each workshop is 3 hours; It is a 12- hour program in total. The language of instruction will be English, open to native speakers or speakers of English. In addition, simultaneous interpretation will be offered for our participants who do not prefer to listen to English. |
No quota has been determined. Open to anyone, including English-speaking international employees who work and want to work in the field of trauma Certificate of Participation: At the end of the program, participants will be given a digital participation certificate indicating the total hours they have attended. |
Scholarship opportunities will not be offered for the international level. |
NOTE |
The language of instruction in the sessions will be Turkish and English. For our participants who do not prefer to listen to English, simultaneous interpretation will be offered in sessions where the medium of instruction is English. |
